MobileVillage.com Honors TalonPR, Inc. with Gold Star Award

Public relations agency recognized for excellence in representing mobile technology companies

TOPEKA, Kan. (June 23, 2003) - - TalonPR, Inc., a public relations and strategic communications agency, has received a Gold Star Award in MobileVillage.com’s Mobile Star Awards competition. The Gold Star Award, in the category of “Public Relations Firms,” recognizes TalonPR for successfully representing small- to mid-sized developers of mobile computing technologies.
     “While it may seem odd to include ‘Public Relations Firms’ in a competition otherwise devoted to mobile technology vendors, these are the companies charged with effectively communicating the technological value of oftentimes complex products,” said Gary Thayer, editor-in-chief of MobileVillage. “The industry recognizes TalonPR for its effectiveness at representing mobile technology vendors and providing a valuable service both to its clients and to the journalists who report on them.”
     TalonPR recently added new clients to its “family” of emerging mobility vendors, including SplashData (Seattle), StylusCentral.com (Warwick, RI) and Beiks, LLC (Dallas). The agency’s services to these companies include coordinating media relations campaigns, general communications consulting, writing & editing, and providing tradeshow support, among other strategic business activities.
