TalonPR, Inc. managed the public relations and social media aspects for the launch of GoodReader on Apple’s iPad. The release of this version was timed to coordinate with the launch of the device itself, and it has been among the top 10 selling apps worldwide ever since. 

The campaign has included a number of press releases which we have written and disseminated to media outlets and blogs. Press releases include:

The campaign has focused on product reviews, feature article coverage on document viewing on the iPad, and news coverage of product developments. We have also handled the company’s social media efforts on Facebook and Twitter.

RESULTS: Dozens of reviews, feature coverage throughout the world, and hundreds of news articles, have helped drive GoodReader to be consistently ranked in the top ten iPad apps – reaching as high as #1 and never dipping below #8. From Macworld Australia referring to GoodReader as the “killer app” for iPad, to Barrons labeling it “manna from heaven”, the media coverage and exposure on enthusiast websites and blogs have helped position GoodReader as the must-have app for iPad users.
